Alison Curfman
MD, MBA
Alison Curfman, MD, MBA is a practicing pediatric emergency physician, healthcare founder, advisor, and board member. Her first mission-driven startup reached a multi-9 figure valuation in under two years and now serves over 35,000 high-needs children. She advises early-stage startups and venture firms, and through her latest venture, Startup Physicians, helps physicians contribute meaningfully to startups and VC—bringing clinical insight into healthcare innovation.
Adam Friedman MD, FAAD
Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD, is professor and chair of dermatology and serves as the director of the Residency Program, Translational Research, Hidradenitis Suppurativa and the Supportive Oncodermatology Programs at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr Friedman has published more than 300 papers/chapters and 3 textbooks on both his research and a variety of clinical areas in dermatology. He is also committed to medical education, serving as senior editor of Dermatology In-Review, co-chair of the ODAC Dermatology, Aesthetic and Surgical Conference and the MedscapeLIVE! Las Vegas Dermatology Seminar, founding director of Krazy Kodachromes and Core Crushers.

Ranna Parekh
MD, MPH
Ranna Parekh, MD, MPH, is Vice President of Workforce Communities and Connections at MD Anderson Cancer Center and former Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. A board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, she brings over 14 years of leadership experience in national organizations, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Psychiatric Association. A published author, sought-after speaker, and educator, Dr. Parekh brings a global lens shaped by professional experiences in Japan, Australia, and beyond. She trained at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and has held academic appointments at Harvard Medical School, George Washington University, and Morehouse School of Medicine.
Keira Barr
MD
Dr. Keira Barr is a dual board-certified dermatologist, somatic trauma practitioner, and founder of the Center for Mind Skin Medicine™. She helps women in midlife heal their skin by healing what’s underneath — chronic stress, shame, and survival patterns stored in the nervous system that conventional treatments often overlook. Dr. Barr’s approach is equal parts research-driven precision and heartfelt care — grounded in neuroscience, somatic psychology and mind-body medicine to support lasting transformation from the inside out. She’s here to change the conversation around skincare — not just about looking better, but about reclaiming your body as a place of safety, self-trust, and resilience.

Nita Nautiyal
Nita Nautiyal is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in finance, economic strategy, risk management, and organizational capability. She spent five years early in her career as an economic researcher and writer at the American Enterprise Institute, a public policy think tank in Washington, D.C., before earning her M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University. For the past 24 years (and counting), she has served in leadership roles at a Fortune 50 company, where she has been involved with billion-dollar capital projects, enterprise planning efforts, and global transformation initiatives across five continents. She is passionate about helping individuals and organizations thrive through building values-driven relationships.
Bonnie Koo
Bonnie Koo, MD, is a master-certified life coach, physician, and founder of Wealthy Mom MD, a platform dedicated to helping women physicians build wealth and transform their relationship with money. As a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Koo trained in dermatology and later pivoted to financial empowerment. She is also the author of Defining Wealth for Women. Dr. Koo is a leading voice in physician finance, combining mindset coaching with practical financial strategies to help women create financial freedom on their own terms.

Sandra Lee
Sandra Lee, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Skin Physicians & Surgeons in Upland, California. With over 20 years in clinical practice, Dr. Lee is internationally recognized as “Dr. Pimple Popper,” a leading voice in dermatology across television and digital media. She rose to prominence through viral procedural videos and currently stars in the hit TLC series Dr. Pimple Popper. After graduating from Drexel University College of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University. Dr. Lee remains committed to patient care, public education, and destigmatizing dermatologic conditions through accessible, medically sound content.
Nana Danso
Nana Danso, MBA, serves as Vice President of the U.S. Dermatology Franchise at Pfizer, where he leads strategic efforts to advance equitable dermatologic care. With over 25 years of cross-industry experience—including two decades in pharmaceuticals—he has held key leadership roles across Dermatology and Rheumatology. Known for his patient-centric approach and servant leadership, Nana champions innovation, inclusion, and mentorship. He earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Mathematics from Wesleyan University. Outside of Pfizer, he is an award-winning speaker, magician, and author of Real Magic: Breaking Through the Illusion of Success.

Tina Bhutani
MD, MAS, FAAD
Dr. Tina Bhutani is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical researcher practicing in San Francisco, California where she is the CEO of Synergy Dermatology, a multi-provider practice focusing on medical dermatology. She has an expertise in the treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin diseases. In addition to seeing patients, she is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at UCSF and the former Director of the Clinical Trials Unit for the department. She is passionate about improving the care and lives of patients with inflammatory skin disorders and is involved in many studies focusing on the development of new treatments for these diseases and learning more about mechanisms of disease initiation and maintenance.
Fara Kamangar MD
Dr. Fara Kamangar is a Silicon Valley-based board-certified dermatologist, TEDx speaker, and thought leader in the healthtech field. In her Palo Alto practice, she is dedicated to removing barriers for patients and physicians alike. Dr. Kamangar founded DermGPT, an innovative, first-of-its-kind AI tool that curates answers from more than 60,000 peer reviewed journals to help dermatologists improve clinical efficiency through practical colleague-like answers. She serves as the President of the San Francisco Dermatological Society. Dr. Kamangar has also received national attention being featured in national publications including Medical News Today, Women's Health, Business Insider, and others, along with hosting the podcast The Future of Dermatology.

Denise Mann
MS
Denise Mann, MS, is Senior Content Director for The Dermatology Digest and The Journal of Dermatology for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (JDNPPA). A veteran health writer based in New York, her work appears on HealthDay, WebMD, Reader’s Digest, and U.S. News & World Report. She was previously Chief Editor of Plastic Surgery Practice and the Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery. Mann has earned numerous awards, including the 2024 MORE Award from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, multiple Journalistic Achievement Awards from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a Sigma Delta Chi Award as part of a WebMD autism series. She has also been recognized by the Arthritis Foundation, the Magazine Association of the Southeast, and others for excellence in health journalism. Mann holds a graduate degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
